Pleased to hear this. Aaliyah was beautiful. A person I both admire and will never forget. It’s a shame what happened to her. The original painting I purchased of her is well good and will be hung on my wall forever!

good post, except for the mention of “madlib medicine show #2: flight to brazil” at the end, which makes no sense. it’s a mixtape, and not even the same style of music.

madlib’s beat konducta in india might be a better reference

Have you heard his other material? I think you’d like him – start with Trouble. Fantastic album. You remember ‘Hold You In My Arms’? It was the song Nimi walked down the aisle to at their wedding.
