I’d love to say I’ve known about this band since they released their 2010 EP, Acid and Everything – but unfortunately not.

I found them on a blog last week and am now waiting for the new album.
This track, Twins, is one for when you’re feeling contemplative. Measured and wistful piano with the gentle caress of a melancholy vocal… strings ebb in and out to accentuate and add a questioning to the pensive.
Rather than “how have I not heard of them before?”, I’m asking “how do I hear more?”
The answer is: New album, Breakers, available for pre-order on Seattle label, Hardly Art and out September 27. Music from soft-pop duo Christopher Barnes and Kristen Drymala.
