Extremely understated, minimal, barely there until it is – confusion in a slow-build.
I wouldn’t have believed these guys were from San Francisco had I not seen it on their MySpace (because you can’t lie on your Myspace page and California = sunshine). This is moody.
Their EP, Tied to the Branches, was released on Abandoned Love Records last September and the trio describe themselves as creators of “often gloomy, usually loud, shoegaze garage rock with feedback and simple beats”.
