Trapt – Headstrong

A blast from my early emo alt-rock days that came up in conversation yesterday before South East in East* at the Vibe Bar during some mickey-taking surrounding my desire to go to a Lost Prophets gig coming up in the next couple of months.

I saw this band at their debut single launch show at The Garage back in 2003 – right at the front, photo of me standing next to my brother’s mate’s brother, who was the ‘Is This You?’ for the gig, in NME Magazine the following week to prove it (or at least it would have if I had kept it…)

This is said debut single from their self-titled debut album, ‘Trapt’ and was sufficiently emo alt-rock to warrant prime position in the mosh pit.

This single is selling for around $58 on amazon.com. Shame mine has “promotional copy not for re-sale” stamped across the cover-art in capital letters :(

Oh the fond memories…

*(Post War Years were even more hypnotic-electro than the last time and The Invisible were also excellent. Great show.)
