We’re going with trip-hop today…a dark and twisty antidote to the beautiful sunny day for any vampires among us
Portishead – Numb – from their 1994 release of the same name, it doesn’t get much more trippy than this. Deeply introspective and little bit eerie.
Sneakerpimps – 6 Underground – I seem to remember this being on the soundtrack for Val Kilmer’s 1997 movie, “The Saint”, but last.fm says it’s been on a whopping 37 albums.
Hooverphonic – 2wicky (hypem) – First heard on the soundtrack for cult teen-horror classic, “I Know What You Did Last Summer” it features a ghostly voice saying something I don’t really understand but also some spooky beats.
and to recap a few I’ve posted before…
Cibo Matto – Sugar Water – sinister yet strangely alluring.
Lamb – Gorecki – recently use to advertise the Tomb Raider Underworld video game.
UNKLE – Glow – saving the world one baddie at a time.
