TV on the Radio - Dear Science

This is the track that prompted me to seek out more, first heard it playing at the Social on Monday when I went to see Magic Magic:

There’s only a clip on the Last.fm page at the moment but the whole track is up on the MySpace. The electro-funk vibe reminds me a little of Kid Confucius but some of their tracks have a much darker edge – ‘DLZ’, for instance – and I didn’t know it was them, but I’ve definitely heard ‘Halfway Home’ before…on Skins, perhaps?

They’re touring at the moment and will be at the o2 Academy, Brixton on July 13.

Fourth Album, ‘Dear Science’, was released late last year…I’m off to scope out their back-catalogue.
