Magic Magic - Magic Magic

Lazy lounge-rock from Boston, Massachusetts. You’ll hopefully know what I mean when you hear it – I’m disappointed I can’t make it to their gig at the Social on 11 May but they’re doing a BBC 6 Music session with Marc Riley on 13 May which should be available online afterwards.

Here are their MySpace and Last.fm pages – having listened to what’s up there my favourite tracks so far are ‘Talking Smoke’ and ‘All I Know’ but I’ll be hunting for some more.

NME recently gave their “bold orchestral pop” of a self-released album, ‘Magic Magic’, an 8/10 and mentions they’re from Salem…lucky we’re not from 1692 – they’ve definitely cast a spell on me!
