I’m a huge fan of US pop-rock band Lifehouse (I’ll post about them and possible a spotify playlist if I can find enough of their music on it later) and was listening to ‘Lifehouse Radio’ on last.fm a while back when this track popped up.

Augustana – Stars and Boulevards

Another pop-rock style track – I love the melodic guitar riffs and the slightly gravely voice of singer Dan Layus…

Here’s their MySpace – I have the album ‘All the Stars and Boulevards’ (you can listen to most of the tracks in full on the last.fm page) but they also released ‘Can’t Love, Can’t Hurt’ on Epic in June,2008 and are currently touring the US.

If you’re a fan of the teenage angsty american rock they use on shows like Smallville, One Tree Hill and the iconic Roswell High and Dawson’s Creek from back in the day (which I, obviously, am) – you might appreciate this one.
