Karina Berry – I Could
I heard this one a couple of years ago but it popped up on my iPod yesterday and I took it as a sign….
The last.fm version is the original I first heard (offering a free download at the moment) and I prefer it to the one on her MySpace which, although also good, sounds a bit more studio-produced.
She’s working on new material at the moment and there’s a lot of her music available on the last.fm page but this track, in particular, hit me because of the confident and almost a little ‘told you so’ story-telling feel to the song. Karina’s vocals are strong and self-assured and have a very natural, conversational quality.
Looking forward to the new tracks.
